The secret of Mindfulness.

Meditation helps you understand your own mind and thoughts, making you become more aware of any negative thoughts and helping switch the mindset, transforming negative in to positive thoughts. It will also help you understand the pattern and reason of thoughts and feelings, and become more aware when they appear, helping you deal with them in a better way.


Did you know that 10-15 minutes of deep breathing meditation have the power to help you rest and repair, find calm and reduce the levels of stress helping you out to focus and concentrate better.

We all know how important it is to train our bodies and practice some form of exercise; it is no different with our minds. We currently live in a world that demands way too much from us... life can get very busy with deadlines to be met, society's pressure to be successful, own a house, and not to mention that many are adding to the list feeling pressured by social media and its false perfect reality.We are living in urgency. We are stressing about things that would have never released such a high amount of cortisol and adrenaline in our blood stream in the past. Urgency to answer a text message, or that Facebook comment, or that phone call from your boss; things that were never urgent before are now perceived like life or death situations.


Regular meditation practice can increase focus on daily activities, optimising time and making us being more productive. Quick breaks during the day or whenever you are feeling overwhelmed will definitely help you reset too. Did you know that 10-15 minutes of deep breathing meditation have the power to activate your parasympathetic nerve system, which is responsible to assist on rest and repair; this will help you find calmness and will reduce the levels of cortisol (stress hormone) leading to increased focus and concentration.


Meditation is a scientifically proven technique that helps lower and manage stress, assists on the management of hypertension and many other chronic conditions. But not only physically, meditation helps you understand your own mind and thoughts, making you become more aware of any negative thoughts and helping switch the mindset, transforming negative in to positive thoughts. It will also help you understand the pattern and reason of thoughts and feelings, and become more aware when they appear, helping you deal with them in a better way!


Meditation does not require much time every day, 10-20 minutes a day is enough if you are starting, and let’s be honest, who doesn’t have 10 minutes on the day to simply sit still with their own thoughts?
